He Who Exalts Himself Shall Be Abased -- How many of us truly believe this? Unfortunately at one time I believe that I had to be shown this! What a painful lesson or plural (lessons) that I had to learn! But yet it is the lesson; or (lessons) that no doubt stays with us the rest of our lives! We must understand that none of us know nor have the full mind of *GOD* through *CHRIST*! Sometimes it is very easy to assume something is right out of a zealous and sincere nature and do just as Paul did! If not diligent; we can become just like the Scribes and Pharisees! Life is hard and yet when we view our life through the ways that the third world countries live their lives; we must all admit that we do not know what a rough life is put up against someone who has never known what a washing machine, air conditioner or a dishwasher is and on and on I could go! I do remember a short period in my life without air condition and most of today's modern inventions. But we have never had to worry about walking out the door and being shot down or having our head cut off for opposing the government's view over things! It seems that when people do have it too easy that; that is when they are prone to exalt themselves above measure! They often become power hungry; self indulgent over material things and the many types of lusts of the flesh! *GOD*s *WORD* gives us a way to weigh out our lives and to see if we are being contrary to *HIS* standard for governing our lives or walking upright before *HIM*! I talk to web site developers on a blog and they have many different categories of topic; from web design coding to theology and shooting the breeze categories. I find it interesting engaging them in conversation and hearing some of their views concerning how the Church is to be run. Some are in split positions with their congregations with talks of suing over things! I try to point them to what the *WORD* of *GOD* says to do regarding these different types of situations that arise! Some get angry with their congregations and ask what they should do. So many times they are of a denominational mindset and I try to give them *GOD*s advice without coming on too strong and in a loving and caring way! I feel that maybe some just have not heard the *WORD* preached correctly or maybe for better terms seen someone living it out in front of them! We must all become as children and leave the former life behind us once we have been baptized into the body of *CHRIST*! My heart feels for these folk as they are doing what they believe to be correct! But yet it seems that man is running some of their organizations instead of *GOD*! I just hope that I am showing myself humble before them and mainly before *GOD*; that some may believe and become a servant of the *LORD*! *JESUS* said he who is greatest in the kingdom is as in: Mt 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Let us all be servants that *GOD* may exalt us in due season!
